KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION UPDATE

Sea to Sky School District 48 has announced information regarding Kindergarten Half and Full Time for September 2010.  Please click here for news release.

Week of June 21-25, 2010

Division 2 goes on field trips this week to Bearfoot Bistro and to Crepe Montage to experience French cuisine. 

Division 3 also go to Crepe Montage. 

Divisions 9 and 10 go on a field trip to Science World. 

Divisions 12 and 6 go on a year end trip to Pinecrest Lake.

 Mrs. Friend's Kinders have their Grad on Thursday evening at 6:30 PM

The Grade 7's have their School Leaving Ceremony on Friday evening at 6:30 PM

 Our Forest was opened this week to designated classes.  We need to practice being gentle giants in our young forest so that it will grow big and grow old.

School Awards Assembly will be at 10:10 AM on Monday, June 28

The last day of school this year is June 29 from 8:30 - 9:30 AM

LATE FRENCH IMMERSION PROGRAM

We have registered 30 Grade 5 students in Late French Immersion and have others on a waiting list.  If we have more students we may be able to open up another class. WOW!

George is driving the Nordic, Brio, Alta Vista Route (BLUE BUS -  first in the bus lane line).  Alex is driving the Creekside and Black Tusk Route (YELLOW BUS - second bus).  Bruce is driving the West Side Road Route (RED BUS - third in the bus lane line).  Ed is driving the benchlands, White Gold, and Spruce Grove Route (GREEN BUS - last bus, closest to the front door of the school). 

THANK YOU Parents for participating in our school and PAC activities.  Together, school staff and parents work as partners in education to help and encourage our children to be the best that they can be, to value learning, respect, responsibility, honesty, and caring.

Our best teaching is through role modeling.

You are wonderful role models.

We have awesome new playground equipment.  Please play carefully.  Have fun.  Keep safe!  Please look after our equipment.  Damage affects us all.  CARE OF OUR PROPERTY AFFECTS US AS WELL.  By caring for our equipment - we can all use it, we feel safe, we feel respected - WE CAN HAVE FUN!
