Jump Rope For Heart and Hoops for Heart

FOOD BANK DRIVE BEGINS ON NOVEMBER 26 - ENDING DECEMBER 10, 2009.  PLEASE GIVE GENEROUSLY. 

In August 2008 the Food Bank served 40 clients, while during August 2009, 116 were served.  Since June this year the Food Bank has also served 58 children.  Now moving into the shoulder season, the Food Bank is looking for increased food donations to the program that feeds locals in times of financial stress.

FOOD ITEMS NEEDED:  rice, peanut butter, pasta, pasta sauce, cereal, side dishes, canned vegetables, canned fruit, Kraft Dinner, instant noodles, granola bars, crackers

NON-FOOD ITEMS NEEDED:  shampoo, hair conditioner, re-usable bags, diapers

FRESH FOODS:  Please donate these directly to the Food Bank.  Call 604-935-7717
